Salute Tadeusz!

I am sending the story in full about the Finnish hospital.

This is my family memento connected to Poland, from the Finnish Hospital, WWI time, from 26.10.1914 to 7.07.1915 in the Royal Castle in Warsaw!.

The Finnish team was 28 persons. My aunt Aina Ekholm was working there and living in the castle. The scans/photos are historical.

The hospital was acting in WWI after Warszawa still in many places on the front. The last pictures might be from Bielostock (Bialystok), and Pakoff or Dvinks.

Hope this would be useful for preserving the Common History of Finland and Poland, at your webgallery “Narodowa.pl” www.narodowa.pl

Best regards,

Jorma Ekholm & family, Helsinki, Finland

SZPITAL FIŃSKI NA ZAMKU KRÓLEWSKIM w WARSZAWIE, 1914-1915!
======================================================

Z najlepszymi pozdrowieniami,

Jorma Ekholm z rodziną, Helsinki, Finlandia

Hello! We have an article about the Finnish Red Cross Military hospital in our book “Mannerheim Polskie Lata”. It is based on the information we got from Mr M. Ekholm The Marshall of Finland was a general of Tsarist Army and was fighting on the Polish grounds during the WW I. We do not know anything about his connections with the hospital, but with Red Cross he was working actively being the president of the Finnish Red Cross 1920-1951.

Hello dear Jukka! We were delighted to receive this message also with the information about your invaluable book ,,Mannerheim Polskie Lata”. It greatly enriches the entry about this extraordinary moment in Polish-Finnish history – Finland’s assistance to Poland during WWI and the hospital at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The figure of Marshal Mannerheim is equally remarkable to us as a bond between Finland and Poland. Thank you for any information on this topic. Regarding this entry on Narodowa.pl – will it be possible to receive information about the content of this article about the hospital in Finnish? Perhaps a summary? What does this diploma/certificate say in Finnish as well? We apologize for the request, but any such information is extremely valuable to us. Warm greetings from Poland!
