Subject: Question for PGF Searching Room

Dear Tadeusz

As you know, I recently got in contact with an older cousin who gave me some information about my Wasilewska relatives. She told me about her father (who married the oldest Wasilewska sister), whose name was Pete Ruse who was from Russia. I have a copy of his WWI Draft card, but I am unable to read some of it, and I was wondering if you would mind posting it to see if anyone can make out the handwriting.

On the left side I can’t read lines 5 and 6. I think the country/nationality is Ruska? which I am assuming is Russia, but I can’t make any sense out of the town.

On the right side I have no idea what line 3 says at all.

I hope you don’t mind me asking this favor. I know this isn’t really a Poland related question, but so many people from the forum always have such great suggestions and ideas, that I thought I would ask if you could share it through the PGF Searching Room. If it’s not appropriate, I’ll completely understand.

Thanks again,

–Helen
