W. Dear Mr. Minister,

I allow myself to draw the attention of you and the Ministry led by you to an extraordinary initiative that should be immediately supported with all its strength by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of each country – a group of amateur genealogists gathered around the Polish Genealogical Society and a dozen or so Regional Societies has been socially indexing and indexing for several years. publishes on the Internet records from parish / civil registers in Poland.

It is a huge work and extremely valuable also for hundreds of thousands of Poles and their families scattered around the world to discover their family roots and Polish national heritage, genealogy in the world is becoming a very popular search for family roots and the related values ​​of national memory – I would like to point out to thanks for this initiative posted on world genealogical forums – it is a great promotion of Poland as an open, modern country, able to preserve the most valuable values ​​and records of national memory for all.
